I’m an electrical engineering student at Bluegrass Community & Technical College and an electrical apprentice documenting my growth through field work, electronics builds, simulation, programming, and technical design notes.
About
I’m studying electrical engineering through Bluegrass Community & Technical College, with plans to transfer to the University of Kentucky College of Engineering. My work combines classroom fundamentals with hands-on practice: electrical apprenticeship work, circuit analysis, breadboard experiments, Python programming, simulation, and project documentation.
A working record of useful systems: what I designed, how I tested it, what failed, what improved, and what I learned from the process.
Electrical engineering, electronics, applied physics, circuit design, troubleshooting, measurement, and practical technical documentation.
Projects
Projects are selected to show design thinking, implementation, testing, and growth—not just finished screenshots.
An object-oriented Python calculator application built with Tkinter, including GUI layout planning, key bindings, constants, unary functions, operator logic, and input error handling.
Comparator-based irrigation concept using a capacitive soil sensor, adjustable threshold, hysteresis, MOSFET pump switching, and flyback protection. Built as a summer portfolio project around analog electronics and test documentation.
A growing home lab record for component behavior and circuit fundamentals: LEDs, resistors, BJTs, comparators, capacitors, inductors, MOSFETs, multimeter readings, and breadboard testing.
Field Work
Selected photos from field experience and technical environments. Public-facing details are intentionally kept general.
Finished lighting work showing practical installation and finish detail.
Field experience around larger electrical distribution equipment and safe work awareness.
Commercial conduit routing, physical layout, and installation discipline.
Skills
Certifications
Current credentials supporting field electrical work, safety awareness, and professional development.
Education
Associate in Science pathway aligned with Electrical Engineering. Honors student. Preparing to transfer to the University of Kentucky College of Engineering.
